Sex, tech and modern courtship — Center Piece

Used graphics to create fun and intriguing way that viewers can learn about sex and the way that it can affect them as students.

With 42% of University of Idaho students who are sexually active we wanted to create a design that let students feel comfortable talking about sex and STDs.

Created a background effect with the images at a low opacity so that the viewer could become part the intimacy of sex and the way it can affect you.

The design process

Sep 16 - 21 – Design Week

Sep 16 | Designers were sent Style Guide and InDesign files to start designing spreads.

Sep 18 | Designers came into the office for Design Night and worked together and had one on one meetings with me to discuss their spreads so far. I troubleshooted any problems they had and worked with them to figure out process they may not have known.

Sep 19 | PDFs of drafts are sent to my inbox by 12 p.m. and we’re edited and sent back the the designers.

Sep 21 | Finalized PDF’s were sent to me for final edits
